SunShare to build 6 community solar gardens for Xcel Energy
December 18, 2018 -- SunShare announced yesterday it won six new community solar garden projects from Xcel Energy totaling 12 MW DC. The selection was made in a competitive bidding process. SunShare, one of the largest community solar companies in the United States, has been awarded six new community solar gardens committed by Xcel totaling 12 MWdc which will service approximately 2,600 subscribers when completed.
We’re very proud that SunShare will be able to continue our mission of bringing community solar to residential customers. We look forward to building our first 100 percent residential community solar gardens in Colorado and appreciate Xcel Energy’s commitment to this program.
